Ceaser Beavers is our expert graphic designer. We love his creativity! His dogs Isabella aka Isabella Boo and Jack Beavers aka Jackie Chan are Treatibles fans! He purchased Isabella from a family friend and Jack, he adopted from Jaidas Paw Rescue shelter in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
When Jack was rescued, he was found wandering the streets of Campbellsville, Kentucky. He was in quite bad shape. Jack was very malnourished, skin and bones. The shelter told Ceaser that if Jack spent another day in that condition he would have died. Ceaser was alerted to Jack’s need for a forever home when someone shared a picture of him on Facebook.
Jack, now 4, was a year old when they adopted him, and Isabella, his bestie, now 8 years old was just a puppy when she joined the family! They got a little unexpected help when naming Isabella. When they first got her, they took her to Walmart to purchase some stuff for her. A little girl approached them while they were there and asked them what her name was. They did not have one at the time. The little girl thought her name should be Isabella! They feel it is the perfect name for her. For Jack, the rescue shelter picked a name for him, they liked it, so they kept it.
Jack and Isabella are quite different. For example, Jack does not have a favorite toy whereas Isabella loves her stuffed animal bird. One thing that they do have in common though is their love for the Treatibles Turkey Flavored Hard Chews. They are both extremely sweet and lovable. They love being around people.
Jack has a unique personality! His family is convinced it is because he may have spent a lot of time around a cat before they got him. He has cat-like mannerisms. He cleans himself the way a cat does and likes to rub up against people the way a cat does.
Having Isabella and Jack has been such a joy! Isabella came into their lives first. They know the breeders and they are good people. But they think there is something about rescuing an animal that needs a home. It really does something to the heart. When they rescued Jack, he instantly became part of the family, like he always belonged. They feel like he was so thankful to them for saving him.
Jack just always seems so appreciative! Knowing that his life before was not that great and that he almost died hurt their hearts. They are happy knowing that they have been able to offer him a loving home. To be honest, they do not think that I will ever “shop” for a dog again. Saving a dog’s life through adoption is that way to go if we decide to get another dog.
