We heard Tater Tot’s story and wanted to help…

So we partnered with the Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans to develop a chew in his honor

$1 from every container sold goes directly towards veterinary expenses at Villalobos

Meet Tater Tot

You may recognize Tater Tot and the Villalobos Rescue Center from the television show, Pit Bulls and Parolees.

Tater is a rescue Pit Bull from VRC and the brand ambassador featured on Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots™ by Treatibles.

Helping Foster Puppies

When Villalobos relocated to New Orleans, Tater helped both the humans and the rescue dogs feel at home. It was soon discovered that this compassionate canine also had a special gift of helping foster puppies adjust to a new life. Even through his issues, Tater and his mom, Mariah traveled the country, delivering rescue dogs to their forever homes – something they still do to this day.

Love at First Sight

When Tater was taken to VRC in 2010 (then located in Los Angeles), it was love at first sight for Mariah, one of the family members running the rescue. She adopted him immediately. She knew he had physical discomfort and mental distress, and she was determined to help ease both. This proved to be a challenge.

Treatibles Made the Difference

Although Tater was living a happy, exciting, fulfilling life, managing his severe discomfort was a continual challenge. His weekly acupuncture treatments helped, however he was still dealing with obvious physical discomfort and exhibiting some obsessive behaviors. That was when Mariah discovered Treatibles. The chew had an almost immediate effect on his physical and mental health. Mariah shared her story with Treatibles’ Founder and CEO, Julianna Carella. The rest, as they say, is history.

Treatibles changed Tater’s life for the better. Physically, he can now enjoy his workday. And his obsessive behavior has subsided tremendously. He even sleeps peacefully through the night.

We are thrilled to have Tater Tot and VRC as part of the Treatibles family.
